Why We Are a Private Pay Practice
At Peak Recovery & Wellness, we have chosen not to accept insurance in order to prioritize what matters most: your privacy, autonomy, and quality of care.
When therapy is billed through insurance, personal information such as mental health diagnoses and session details becomes part of a permanent medical record and may be reviewed by third-party insurance administrators who are not licensed therapists. These reviewers determine coverage and authorization rather than clinical appropriateness or depth of care.
By working outside of insurance networks, we are able to offer a higher level of confidentiality and flexibility. You and your therapist determine the focus, pace, and duration of therapy without restrictions imposed by an insurance company.
This model also allows us to provide services that insurance does not cover, including in-home and concierge therapy. Many clients find that meeting in familiar environments fosters greater safety, engagement, and progress, allowing therapy to integrate more naturally into daily life rather than remaining confined to a traditional office setting.
For clients who value discretion, individualized support, and a therapy experience tailored to their needs, private pay offers a more confidential and intentional path to healing.
Concierge Therapy: An Elevated Level of Support
Concierge therapy offers a highly personalized and flexible approach to counseling for individuals, couples, and families who require enhanced support while balancing complex personal or professional demands.
This level of care provides consistent access to a trusted therapist to support addiction recovery, relationship repair, emotional regulation, and long-term growth with discretion and continuity. Concierge therapy is ideal for clients seeking a confidential alternative to traditional therapy and for those who benefit from real-world integration rather than once-weekly sessions alone.
Whether you are navigating early sobriety, rebuilding trust after relational rupture, or working to maintain long-term recovery, concierge therapy provides individualized attention that supports meaningful, lasting change.
If you are ready to explore a therapy experience that prioritizes flexibility, privacy, and personalized care, we invite you to contact Peak Recovery & Wellness. During an initial consultation, we will review concierge therapy package options and collaborate on a plan aligned with your goals, lifestyle, and desired level of support.
